Seattle Seahawks chief executive Tod Leiweke claimed that he was not genuine in searching coach before settling Pete Carroll as the team's coach.
Leiweke also confirmed another offer to former Indianapolis Colts and Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Tony Dungy as the team president after introducing Carroll as the eighth coach in the Seahawks' 34-year history. Leiweke said he did not to defend himself with the Rooney Rule and Tony was the first call he had made. The NFL's Rooney Rule requires teams to interview minority candidates. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said Saturday that the Seattle had obeyed the the Rooney Rule through Leiweke's interview of Frazier.
They are still looking for a GM to coach those players with seahawks jerseys.
