Saints' Evans heads to top NFL

All-Pro Jahri Evans really deserved what he got. He travelled to rural Pennsylvania to watch a Division II football game.

“I think it’s something special for a guy down there in New Orleans who’s willing to give up that weekend to fly up here to upstate Pennsylvania in the cold and wet,” Hale said. “He really is a special guy—pretty humble, a hard worker and a great kid. When he was here it was five years of just doing what you tell him.” Evans has started every game in the New Orleans Saints after he drafted out of Bloomsburg in 2006. Evans also did a good job last week to help a lot with running back Pierre Thomas' touchdowns and they defeated the Vikings at last.

Evans said A lot of guys know now that there’s players all over the country, no matter what college they go to. Now all the players with saints jerseys are preparing for their big game next week.
